  8. I enjoyed reading your blog on effective communication. Instead of saying "you" need to this or "you" need to do that, starting the sentence with I is a great tool to use. Thank you!

  9. Love this! My hubby and I are both teachers as well. He does middle school math and after spending 8 years in the classroom full-time, I am now Mommy to our two little boys and trying to invest in these young years. Sounds like we have a lot in common! thanks for hosting this!

    1. Sounds like we do have lots in common! I love being home with my girls but there are moments that I really miss the classroom and using some of the skills that a classroom environment requires. I felt much smarter and capable as a teacher. :-) Parenting is quite humbling.

    1. Yeah for English and Spanish resources! When my oldest was younger I tried teaching her some Spanish but I'm not fluent. We were better with teaching sign language because we use it more. Good luck!

  12. I taught summer school and worked another job as well. Therfore, I never got to go to the beach. However, this made me realize that summer is almost over and I need to find the time to go outside an d enjoy the weather. I would love to win a gift card. Thank you for the chance to win!
